  1. A few last minute notes:

  3. 1. If you are upgrading from 2.0 or 2.1 beta-1, then please convert your
  4. old phonebooks to the new format. This can be done using the coNvert option
  5. from the dialer menu.
  6.  
  7. 2. CKermit does not dowload to the specified download directory. Instead,
  8. CKermit puts all downloaded files in the current (LiveWire) directory.
  9. This seems to be a CKermit oversight.
  10.  
  11. 3. CKermit does not operate properly on direct connections that do not
  12. have carrier. This seems to be a CKermit bug.
  13.  
  14. 4. M2Zmodem uses excessive amounts of CPU if you attempt to download without
  15. carrier. This is an M2Zmodem bug.
  16.  
  17. 4. M2Zmodem users who do not have RTS/CTS flow control should remove the -h
  18. option from the M2Zmodem command string.
  19.  
  20. 5. CompUServe does not seem to like LiveWire's internal Xmodem protocol.
